Biography of Angie HarmonAngela Michelle Harmon was born on August 10, 1972, in Dallas, Texas. A model from an early age, beauty was in her genes as both of her parents were former models.
This brown-eyed brunette won the national cover contest for Seventeen magazine at the age of 15, selected from a group of 63,000 other teenagers. A car was one of the contest prizes, even though she wasn't old enough to drive. After a trip to New York to attend a national photo shoot, Harmon returned to her studies at Highland Park High School.

Once she graduated in 1990, Harmon settled down in New York and began modeling, although her childhood dream was to become an actress. Her successful modeling career included appearances in magazines such as Vogue, Bazaar, Cosmopolitan, GQ, and Esquire, as well as European fashion magazines.
She also strutted her stuff down runways in the fashion capitals of the world and caught the eyes of designers like Giorgio Armani, Ralph Lauren and Isaac Mizrahi.
After a few years of modeling, Harmon began taking lessons with acting coaches in New York and Los Angeles. Her dream came true when David Hasselhoff (of Baywatch fame) spotted Harmon on an airplane. Hasselhoff and the producers of Baywatch Nights were looking for an actress to play Ryan McBride, the female lead for a spinoff of the most popular syndicated television show of all time. And they thought Harmon would be perfect for the role.

In March 2000, Harmon made news when her boyfriend, New York Giants defensive back Jason Sehorn, proposed to her during her appearance on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, on March 13th. Leno, who was in on the plan, had just asked her if she was dating anyone special, to which she responded that she doesn't discuss her personal life in public. She accepted the marriage proposal on national television and the couple exchanged vows on June 9, 2001.
Ever since Harmon's departure from Law & Order in 2001, her career seems to have taken a backseat to her family life. Although she no longer works steadily on television, Angie has appeared in the film Good Advice in 2001, and starred as Susan Wilson in the made-for-TV movie Video Voyeur: The Susan Wilson Story, in 2002. She also lent her voice to the character of Commissioner Barbara Gordon in the TV series, Batman Beyond, from 2000 to 2001.
